The Junior Professional Associates (JPA) Program for Young Graduates has been announced by the World Bank. On a two-year, non-renewable Extended Term Consultant (ETC) contract with perks, it’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for young professionals to gain experience in a leading development organization. ​

The Junior Professional Associates (JPA) Program of the World Bank is a two-year professional program open to individuals from around the world. This program will lead to a slew of new job opportunities in the government, private sector, academia, business, and other sectors of development.

Eligibility Requirements for Junior Professional Associates Program:

  • Recent Graduates from all around the world can apply.
  • A candidate must have at least a bachelor’s or equivalent degree.
  • A candidate should not be more than 28 years of age on the first day of the job.
  • A candidate must be fluent and proficient in the English language.
  • Having command in more than one WB’s official language is a plus point. (Arabic, French, Chinese Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish) 
  • The JAPs are eligible to reapply for this program if they take a two-year “Cooling Off” period.
