International Scholarships at the American University of Bahrain


If you desire to study in an American-style setting with a broad and diversified student body, the American University of Bahrain is offering AUBH Scholarships in Bahrain for the academic year 2022-2023.

This scholarship is provided at the American University of Bahrain for Bahraini and foreign students who wish to pursue further education at AUBH. The American University of Bahrain International Scholarship has the authority to cover the whole tuition price of chosen students and to provide them with an internship at a private enterprise.

Riffa, Bahrain is home to the American Institution of Bahrain, a private university. The Higher Education Council of Bahrain granted it a licence in September 2019.

Scholarship Benefits

The American University of Bahrain International Scholarship will cover all tuition fees for the selected students for the duration of their studies, which will be four years. Students will also have the chance to conduct an internship and a right-of-first-refusal interview with a private firm.

Scholarship Eligibility

Eligible Countries: This American University of Bahrain International Scholarship is open to both Bahraini and international students.
Eligible Courses or Subjects: AUBH’s 4-year undergraduate programs are eligible.
Criteria for Eligibility: Applicants must fulfill all of the following/given requirements to be considered:
Applicants must have outstanding academic records, personal accomplishments, and the will to excel in an American-style setting.

Other Requirements

How to Apply: Students can submit their applications online via the university portal. All students will be considered upon applying.

Supporting Documents: Students must provide the following documents to the university:
Graduation certificate / High school diploma
Transcripts from high school
a copy of your passport / a copy of your CPR / a copy of your national identification card
A medical report from a public health facility or a private hospital that has been approved
two pictures of passport size (soft or hard copies)
Requirements for Admission: Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of at least 75 percent.
Students must have confirmation of English language competency, such as the IELTS (academic), TOEFL, or Linguaskill.
