The Adam Smith Business School at the University of Glasgow is pleased to announce International MRes/PhD Studentships in Economics. This International Scholarship at the University of Glasgow is offered to international students for the academic year 2022-2023.

Up to six places are available for outstanding candidates to pursue a PhD degree at the Adam Smith Business School. Up to six studentships will be funded by the University of Glasgow, which would cover tuition costs and a stipend for up to five years, allowing students to acquire complete MRes (pre-PhD) training and then do supervised independent research in a selected subject of economics, culminating to a PhD.

Commitment Mentors will use the online platform to review and monitor student engagement in the CGI U curriculum and ensure that students are meeting graduation requirements. Students must complete the following tasks over the course of the 2022 program to be eligible for the CGI U Commitment-Maker seal, letters of recommendation, and other opportunities:

Throughout the program, you must participate in at least four (4) small group discussions (to be scheduled by Commitment Mentors)
Review of CGI U’s 30-minute webinar recordings and readings, which will be available on the online platform, as well as completion of all exercises.
Per module, they must complete one 30-minute individual coaching session with their Commitment Mentor (4 in total)
Completion of the Progress Report on the Commitment to Action.
